Thank you for stopping by to check on Joann. We hope this page is useful, and we will try to keep it as up-to-date as possible. Joann, Larissa and Jim expect to be together as a family at the end of today, and that is a good situation.
We are sorry that we missed greeting Ron Webster on his birthday on Saturday. Anyway, he's already had many, many 29th birthdays, so we don't feel too badly about it. Visiting hours for Joann are 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM Monday through Friday
and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. We dearly appreciate your love, concern,
prayers, and efforts to travel to Albany. Joann needs to conserve her energy for herself
and Larissa, and we ask that you keep your visits brief. There are many fine restaurants,
museums, historic sites, architecture, and other attractions in the capital region, and we
suggest that you combine one or more of them with your visit to Joann. For more
information, see our Around Albany page. |

About baby Larissa:![]() Larissa continues to do very well. She spent several hours on unassisted breathing. She practices her sucking, swallowing, and breathing coordination with a pacifier. What about Jim?![]() Jim said to a psychiatrist acquaintance this morning, "Some of my family are worried that I'm becoming manic." The psychiatrist said, "You had better be manic in a situation like this, or you'll have a nervous breakdown."
